Minutes of the Meeting held at Shuttleworth Hall Egloshayle on Tuesday 18th July 2017 at 7.30 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Davey (Chairman), Collis, Baker, Eddy, Howard, Nicholas, Oram, Varcoe, Warne & C.Clr Knightley, McHugh & Rushworth.
Apologies – Cllr Hurst.
364. Public Session - Cllr Knightley – general update on C.C. matters including Community Chest funds.. Confirmation to Cllr Rushworth that Parish supported proposal for 87 Cornwall Councillors. The representative from the developers of the proposed Bodieve site gave a further update outlining two options but being aware that the Council would discuss this at the August Meeting. (Cllr Rushworth left the meeting)
As previously agreed a further presentation was given by David Clark concerning proposals for the Bodieve/Ball area after item 367.
365. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 20th June 2017 be approved as a correct record.

366. Declaration of Interests/Dispensation Requests. – None
367. Matters Arising
(a) Glendale Grass Cutting – awaiting confirmation of amended costs.
(b) Website – anticipated going live shortly with email addresses now set up.
(c) NHP – Cllr Collis advised that the 18day consultancy funding was agreed and the referendum was scheduled for May 2018. Next STG meeting 16/8/17 and he was optimistic that progress would continue.
(d) Bramble Lane footpath had now been cut by C.C.
368. Planning Notices
PA17/01287PREAPP – Old P.O. Washaway – conversion – closed advice given.
PA17/05689 – Land off HigherTrenant – Outline 204 residential dwellings etc – discussed at length noting previous responses in 2016 . It was proposed and agreed that “ In principal site is suitable for residential housing but main access should be via Trenant, thus avoiding conflict with both Egloshayle village and Foxdown. Application supported but clear concerns relating to highway access and congestion and this needs to be resolved before approval.
PA17/04444 – Stable Cottage Egloshayle – construction of bungalow – withdrawn.
PA16/00721- Land off Higher Trenant/Green Hill – Appeal dismissed.
PA16/07913 – Land off Higher Trenant – OPP 95 units – Appeal Hearing.
