Minutes of the Meeting held Virtually on Tuesday 16th February 2021 at 7.00 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Davey (Chairman), Collis, Eddy, Howard, Nicholas, Oram, Varcoe & Warne & C.Clrs. Knightley & Mould.
Apologies – Cllrs Baker, Hurst & C.Cllr Moorcroft.

012. Declaration of Interests/Dispensation Requests - none.

013. Public Session - Cllr Knightley reported on a number of highway and community initiatives within the Wadebridge area, including issues highlighted on social media. Mud and water run-off from the Higher Trenant development was causing problems which he was to report to Highways.

014. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 19th January 2021 be approved as a correct record.
Proposed Cllr Nicholas & seconded Cllr Collis.

015. Matters Arising
(a) Trelawney Lay-By Drainage - This had been reported by the Clerk and acknowledged by C.C. as needing attention.
(b) Sladesbridge Footpath Surface – The Clerk had received confirmation that a tarmac surface would result when works commence shortly.
(c) NHP - Once again no response had been received from Wadebridge Town Council and statements issued by them on the Planning Portal and Social media do not reflect the views of the formally constituted NHP, to which all three Councils are equal partners. Parish Councillors expressed their complete dissatisfaction with the current position and the Chairman was able to confirm that a Meeting was being arranged very shortly with St. Breock Council to formulate a way forward, together with support from Cornwall Council.

016. Planning Notices
PA21/00169 PPA Higher Church Park, Egloshayle – residential etc – for information.

017. Payment of Account
Ratification of payments made under delegated lockdown powers and each authorised by two Councillors :
See Clean - Bus Shelter Maintenance - £43.80

018. Correspondence Received
(a) Camel Trail Partnership Newsletter – circulated together with brief update from the Clerk as Chairman of the CTP.
(b) King George`s Field - Chairman & Clerk to meet on site in due course.
(c) LMP 2021/22 & Grass Contract continuance. – resolved to continue current arrangements pending any variations as a result of the Community Governance Review. Proposed Cllr Varcoe and seconded Cllr Oram.

019. Clerks Remuneration w.e.f. 1/04/21 – (Standing Order 17(k) suspended for this item and Cornwall Councillors left the Meeting).
It was proposed by Cllr Warne and seconded by Cllr Collis that the Clerks working hours would be 7 hours per week with pay-scale continuing in accordance with existing National agreements. Agreed.
