Minutes of the Meeting held at the Shuttleworth Hall, Egloshayle on Tuesday 18th April 2023 at 7.00 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Davey (Chairman), Collis, Eddy, Howard, Nicholas & C.Cllrs Mould & Moorcroft.
Apologies – Cllrs Baker, Knightley & Oram.
28. Declarations of Interests/Dispensation Requests – None
29. Public Session
Cllrs Mould & Moorcroft are seeking a way to move the NHP forward and discussions are ongoing with Wadebridge Town Council, as it is vital for the future of the town and surrounding area. In the near future a deadline will be needed for a response from WTC. Cllr Moorcroft is pushing for a completion date for the Washaway Bus Stop.
30. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 21st March 2023 be approved as a correct record.
Proposed Cllr Howard & seconded Cllr Collis.
31. Matters Arising :
(a) King Georges Field Fencing – quote due.
(b) Local Medical Centre & Cormac Offices – Cllrs Mould & Moorcroft are in continued discussions recognizing the very serious situation within the area concerning medical facilities, the increase in housing and need for urgent “joined up thinking” between the Agencies involved.
(c) Councillor Vacancy – applicant for review.
(d) Grass Cutting LMP Agreement – amended contracts awaited.

PA23/00945 – Land adjacent to Karensa, Wadebridge – conversion/extension - refused by C.C.
33. Payment of Accounts
(a) See Clean - Bus Shelter Maintenance £50.40

(c) Trudgeon & Halling - Audit Fee £96.00
(d) Shuttleworth Hall - Hire £32.00
Proposed by Clr Nicholas and seconded by Cllr Eddy. Agreed.

(e)Annual Accounts and Audit – submitted to Trudgeon Halling, report received and AGAR annual review
at May Meeting.
(f)Devon & Cornwall Police Monthly Newsletter.
(g)Citizens Advice – Egloshayle Parish.
(h)Wadebridge Commemorative Stone – no action proposed..
(i) Sladesbridge Highway Drainage – issues recently resolved by Highways, although possible valve problems at high tide which are responsibility of EA.

Agreed next meeting on MONDAY 15th May 2023 at 7.30 p.m. to be followed by
the Annual Parish Meeting at 8.15 p.m.
