Minutes of the Meeting held at the Shuttleworth Hall Egloshayle on Tuesday 15th August 2023 at 7.00 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Davey (Chairman), Collis, Howard, Knightley, Oram & C.Cllr Moorcroft.
Apologies – Cllrs Baker, Danning, Eddy, Nicholas & C.Cllr Mould.
68. Declaration of Interests/Dispensation Requests. – none.
69.Public Session
Cllr Moorcroft referred to the proposed footpath works at Sladesbridge which had indicated the best option would be a request via the CAPT scheme next year. He will be meeting Highways in the next few days to highlight other footpath issues in Sladesbridge including the adoption of Bramble Lane footpath under the LMP scheme. The Bus Stop works at Washaway were now scheduled for 29/01/24.
70. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 18th July 2023 be approved as a correct record.

71. Matters Arising
(a) King Georges Field Fencing - ongoing – one possible contractor had withdrawn.
(b) Bramble Lane Footpath – Clerk had contacted C.C. and Cllr Moorcroft to follow up.
(c) Councillor Vacancy – deferred until September Meeting.
(d) Sladesbridge Footpath – as noted.

73. Payment of Accounts:
(a) See Clean - Bus Shelter Maintenance - £57.96
(b) Shuttleworth Hall - Hire £32.00.
(c) Duchy Defibrillators - Annual Contract £228.00
Proposed by Cllr Oram & seconded Cllr Collis. Agreed.
Noted that Glendale would undertake a second cut this week.
74. Correspondence Received
As circulated and:
(a) Rev. Shuttleworth connection – enquiry from Bodmin Museum and we will direct this to Liz Davey at the Shuttleworth Hall.
(b) Devon & Cornwall Police Alerts – as circulated.
(c) CIL Spending – clerk to prepare the 2022/23 report for C.C., showing expenditure on Bus Stop and Defibrillator maintenance.
(d) Camel Trail – Clerk reported on recent contacts, with Partnership Meeting due soon.
(e) Town & Parish Council Newsletter – Flyposting/Waste Collection etc.
(f) Town & Parish Council Bulletin – Recycling, Rubbish & Food Waste changes.
