Minutes of the Meeting held at the Shuttleworth Hall Egloshayle on Tuesday 21st January 2025 at 7.00 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Knightley (Vice-Chairman), Danning, A.Eddy, S.Eddy, Howard, Nicholas, Oram & C.Clrs Moorcroft & Mould.

001. Declaration of Interests/Dispensation Requests. – None
002. Public Session - Cllrs Moorcroft and Mould gave updates from today`s full Cornwall Council Meeting, the Government Devolution White Paper and the National Planning Policy Framework and NDP`s.
003. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 17th December 2024 be approved as a correct record. Proposed Cllr Howard & seconded Cllr Oram.
004. Matters Arising
(a) Wadebridge Cemetery Annual Contribution – Councillor`s had a detailed discussion, noting one burial in February 2024 and it was proposed by Cllr A. Eddy and seconded by Cllr Oram that the current suspended arrangement with the Town Council be re-instated, subject to regular reviews. Agreed and the Clerk will arrange payment of the outstanding invoices shortly, covering the period up to 31st March 2025.
(b) Fly Posting – Cllr Nicholas had reported and awaited response.
(c) NHP Update – as previously noted the Government NPPF and the briefing note on NDP`s was clear, indicating that where a Plan was not in place then each individual Town & Parish was likely to be asked to produce a Neighbourhood Priorities Statement as part of a new process. The local NDP would not proceed.
(d) Bus Shelter Sladesbridge – the additional Shelter remains under discussion.

(f) C.C. Affordable Housing Newsletters
(g) Cllr Howard – advised that he would retire in April, prior to the Local Elections. He joined the Parish Council in October 2004 and his contribution remained invaluable to the local Community.
