Minutes of the Meeting held at Shuttleworth Hall Egloshayle on Tuesday 18th November 2025 at 7.00 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Davey (Chairman), A. Eddy, S.Eddy, Oram & Knightley, C.Cllr Moore and 3 members of public.
Apologies – Cllrs Charlesworth, Danning & Nicholas & C.Cllr Moorcroft.
97. Declaration of Interests/Dispensation Requests. – None
98. Public Session - Cllr Moore reported on the Highway Improvements scheme and the Banking Hub submission.
99. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 21st October 2025 be approved as a correct record.
Proposed Cllr Oram & seconded Cllr S. Eddy.
100. Matters Arising
(a) Speed Camera – vegetation clearance ongoing re Sladesbridge.
(b) Bank Mandate – on-line payments system now working.
(c) Bus Shelter – scale drawings will now assist with costing.
(d) Footpath 10 – Clerk to chase up C.C. re work required.
101. Planning Notices
PA25/06289 – Land North of Higher Church Park Sladesbridge – Hybrid application 550 dwellings and associated works. – Councillors had considered in great detail and it was proposed by Cllr A.Eddy and seconded by Cllr Oram that the Chairmans summary of comments was submitted, not supporting the application. Agreed.

(a) SeeClean - Bus Shelter Maintenance £57.96
(b) Shuttleworth Hall - Hire £32.00
(c) Poppy Appeal - Wreath £28.49
(d) P. Solomon - Footpath Maintenance £380.00
Proposed by Cllr Oram & seconded by Cllr A. Eddy. Agreed.
103. Correspondence Received and as circulated.
(a) Annual Precept & Budget 2026/27 – calculations and budget circulated to Councillors and after noting reserves and restricted funds it was proposed by Cllr Oram and seconded by Cllr A.Eddy that the Precept remained for a further year at £7000. Agreed.
(b) Devon & Cornwall Police Alerts & Newsletters
(c) Local Police- Future Attendance at meetings.
(d) C.C. Town & Parish Newsletters & updates.
(e) Camel Valley CAP – Minutes.
