Minutes of the Meeting held at the Shuttleworth Hall Egloshayle on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 7.00 p.m.

001. Declaration of Interests/Dispensation Requests. – Cllr S.Eddy – PA26/00188.
002. Public Session - Cllrs Moorcroft and Moore gave updates on local matters including today`s full Cornwall Council Meeting and last nights CAP Meeting. The Clerk confirmed submission of E.O.I under C.C. CHIP scheme.
Speaker: - Barry Cornelius (Camel Valley Connect Manager) provided details to improve funding and widen the provision of this local transport initiative, incorporating mini buses and volunteer drivers, serving the CAP area and our Parish. Local Section 137 funding was applicable should Town/Parish wish to support.
003. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 16th December 2025 be approved as a correct record. Proposed Cllr A. Eddy & seconded Cllr Oram.
004. Matters Arising
(a) Speed Camera – installation instructions received.
(b) Footpath 10 - site Meeting taken place and awaiting C.C. update.
(c) Bus Shelter - amendments to design to be agreed.
(d) Sladesbridge Drainage Flaps – reported to C.C. and works planned for April, to include lay-by works.
005. Planning Notices
PA25/08512 – Land at Bodieve – Independent Water Networks – No C.C. objection..
PA26/00188 – Land N of Bozion Farm- Temp Campsite (60 days) – C.C. advice given.
PA25/09528 – Old Sunday School Sladesbridge – Change of use to residential – not supported by Parish, noting no vehicle parking despite application indicates otherwise. Roadside parking not an option, Highway safety congestion and increased local pressure.
