Minutes of the Meeting held at the Shuttleworth Hall, Egloshayle on Tuesday 21st April 2026 at 7.00 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Davey (Chairman), Charlesworth, A.Eddy, Knightley & C.Cllrs Moorcroft & Moore.
Apologies – Cllrs Danning, S. Eddy, Nicholas & Oram.
28. Declarations of Interests/Dispensation Requests
Cllr S.Knightley re unpaid support for new Bus Shelter design.
29. Public Session
Cllrs Moorcroft & Moore reported on todays full C.C. Meeting including Glyphosate review. Also respective Community Chest funds, Sept/Nov 20 mph rollout, Bodieve Road speed monitoring and the local Dentistry proposals.
30. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 17th March 2026 be approved as a correct record.
Proposed Cllr A. Eddy & seconded Cllr Knightley.
31. Matters Arising :
(a) New Speed Camera now working.
(b) Bus Shelters (Sladesbridge) – 1. Glass repaired. 2. Costing awaited.
(c) Bodieve Link Road – Cllr Moore in contact with both planners and developer.
(d) Ball Roundabout – pending.
(e) Glendale Contract – cut taken place and awaiting revised agreement.
32. Planning Notices -
PA26/00938 – Treworder Barton – Stables etc – variation of approved conditions – approved by C.C.
PA25/09528 - The Old Sunday School Sladesbridge – Change of Use – approved by C.C.
PA26/01119 – Higher Bodieve Farm – Telecommunication works – C.C. approval not required.
PA26/02417 – Mill Valley Yurts – temporary (60day) Campsite – C.C. advice given.

(d) Wadebridge Town Council – Cemetery Grant 25/26 - £772.36
(e) Trudgeon Halling - Audit Fee - £114.00

(a) Sladesbridge Defibrillator – electrical connection restored.
(b) Devon & Cornwall Police Alerts & Newsletters & Cyber Awareness.
(c) CAP Meeting March Minutes
(d) C.C. Town & Parish Newsletters & updates.
(e) AGAR Audit & Annual Accounts – satisfactory Internal Audit completed with full review in May.
(f) Zurich Insurance documentation received noting no increase and due in June.
35. Date of the next Meeting
Agreed next Meeting on Tuesday19th May 2026 at 7.00 p.m. to be followed by
the Annual Parish Meeting at 8.00 p.m.
