Minutes of the Meeting held at Shuttleworth Hall Egloshayle on Tuesday 20th February 2018 at 7.30 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Davey (Chairman), Baker, Collis, Eddy, Howard, Nicholas, Oram, Varcoe & Warne & C.Clr. Knightley.

438. Public Session -
Cllr Knightley advised on todays C.C. Meeting with reference C.C. Budget increase and the Campaign to go “Plastic Free”. He also distributed information on the proposed Boundary Changes subject to ratification by the Boundary Commission.
439. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Monday 16th January 2018 be approved as a correct record.
Proposed Cllr Warne & seconded Cllr Oram.
440. Declaration of Interests/Dispensation Requests.
Cllr Davey re PA17/02423 – as a sponsor to Wadebridge RFC.
441. Matters Arising
(a) NHP – Cllr Collis gave an update and advised that a flyer would shortly be distributed to all residents promoting local information events on 21/3, 19/4 & 4/5. Work was continuing on the NHP Timetable in order to reach agreement and avoid any further slippage.
(b) Website - Grant application has been approved.
(c) External Audit Exemption – the Clerk reported on the forthcoming changes and Cllrs supported the exemption option whilst retaining a local external audit as in previous years. A vote would be taken at the April Meeting in accordance with SLCC guidelines.
(d) BT Phonebox Sladesbridge – General discussion and Cllr Oram proposed and Cllr Eddy seconded that the Chairman sign the Agreement for purchase. Agreed and it was noted that the intention is to facilitate installation of a defibrillator and therefore notification was required to be given to BT as part of the purchase requirements relating to unmetered electricity supply. Funds were being raised locally towards costs and it was anticipated further funding from the Parish Council would be reviewed. Cllr Knightley also hoped to contribute from funds available to him at C.C. level after April.

PA17/05689 – Land off Higher Trenant - Outline 204 residential dwellings with matters reserved – approved by C.C.
PA17/12221 – Killibury Egloshayle – demolition & replacement dwelling – approved by C.C.

Proposed by Cllr Varcoe & seconded by Cllr Warne. Agreed.
