Minutes of the Meeting held at Shuttleworth Hall Egloshayle on Tuesday 15th January 2019 at 7.30 p.m.
Present
Cllrs Davey (Chairman), Baker, Collis, Eddy, Howard, Nicholas, Oram, Varcoe, Warne & C.Clr. Knightley & 3 members of Public.
Apologies – Cllr. Hurst.
001. Declaration of Interests/Dispensation Requests. – none.
002. Public Session - Two members of the Public referred to PA18/11544 and whilst not objecting had concerns relating to highway/footpath safety on this narrow road, with adjoining Bus Stop and busy junction with the A389. The defined site boundary was questioned.
Cllr Knightley updated on the conditional approval on PA17/03835 (Bodieve Park).
003. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
Resolved that Minutes of the Meeting on Tuesday 11th December 2018 be approved as a correct record. Proposed Cllr Warne & seconded Cllr Eddy.
004. Matters Arising
(a) NHP – next meeting 18/01/19.
(b) Ball Roundabout – Cllr Eddy had been informed that Blue Diamond were not continuing with sponsorship and the Clerk has subsequently contacted C.C. for a response.
(c) Barclays Mandate – pending.
005. Planning Notices
PA18/11544 – The Old P.O. Washaway – conversion & extension - Not supported at this stage and further guidance requested from Planning Officer in respect of serious highway/footpath safety concerns and boundary issues.
PA19/00067 – Bozion Farm – Proposed extension – supported by Parish.
006. Payment of Accounts
(a) See Clean - Bus Shelter Maintenance £43.80
(b) Shuttleworth Hall - Hire Nov/Mar £40.00
(c) D.P. Solomon - Footpath Maintenance £320.00
Proposed by Cllr Baker & seconded by Cllr Collis. Agreed.
007. Correspondence Received
(a) Cornwall Community Governance Review – discussed and agreed response Parish Review not required. The Parish has a full complement of dedicated Cllrs with consistent attendance and this has benefited the Council over the years. They know their Parish and are best able to support it both now and in the future. The Parish covers a substantial area and its future is believed to be in good hands and it is not considered any benefit would be achieved by merging with any adjoining Parish/Town Council, and at this point we do not for see any boundary changes.
(b) Neighbourhood Plan E-Bulletin – circulated.
(c) W & P Community Network Panel – Jacquie Rapier – next Meeting 7/02/19
(d) C.C. Off Street Parking Order 2019 – circulated.
